How to create a Persona?

A persona is a fictional representation of a group of customers who have similar goals, purchase paths and personal profiles. Personas help you idealize the ideal customer you are trying to attract. Enable interaction with your potential customers as real human beings, it is a usability tool to represent users of a website or product.
Personas work best when you already know your customers well, and when there is this defining characteristic where a “figure” can represent a group of customers. The strongest buyer personas are based on market research as well as insights that contribute to your real customer base (through surveys, interviews, etc.).
Depending on your business, you might have just one or two personas, or as many as 10.

How to create personas?

  • Age

  • Profession

  • Likes / interests

  • Lifestyle

  • Your goals

  • Difficulties and problems

  • What social networks do you use

  • Who do they follow

  • What drives them to buy

The more detailed and prepared these personas are, the more effective they will be for the understanding necessary to make confident decisions in successfully developing your content plans. This is a good practice, however it is not optional, as it is possible to plan thinking about audiences, in a broader way.
