[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text uncode_shortcode_id=”135299″]Decree Law No. 59/2021, of July 14, in force since November 2021, establishes the regime applicable to the availability and dissemination of telephone lines for consumer contact.
According to the Directorate-General for Consumers, any entity that provides telephone lines for consumers to contact must disclose, in a clear and visible manner, in their commercial communications, Internet, invoices, written communications with consumers, the number or telephone numbers made available to which must be associated, in an equally clear and visible manner, up-to-date information regarding the price of calls.
Information relating to numbers and the price of calls must be made available starting with toll-free lines and geographic or mobile lines, then presenting, if applicable, in ascending order of price, the number and price of calls to the remaining lines.
When it is not possible to present a single price for the call, due to the fact that it varies depending on the origin and destination network, the following information must be provided, as the case may be: «Call to national fixed network»; «Call to national mobile network».
If you haven’t changed it yet, and in order to avoid a fine, we advise you to change the layout of the documents to include the price of the respective calls next to the customer support number.
